THE "MILK RUN" PROJECT

This is a life support for many families and runs every fortnight.

Sister Joan started this project in 1992.

At first, she knew which women needed milk and would walk to their homes. Sister Joan currently supplies approx. 160 babies (and 14 elderly residents) with milk formula and full cream powdered milk at a cost in excess of 36,000 baht (A$1,300) each fortnight.

On average it costs A$25 per fortnight to feed a baby. Only A$50 per month to supply them with all their nutritional needs.
