Sister Joan is often approached to assist with specific projects for people in need in the slum community. She also creates new projects to assist particular groups.

Each of these projects requires funding to make it a reality.

Current urgent specific projects include:HOME REBUILDING PROJECT – rebuilding a family’s home which has become infested with termites – costing approx. 220,000 Baht (A$7,000). This project has now been completed.

HANDICRAFT TRAINING PROJECT – training women from the slum community to make various handicrafts, allowing them to make money and help support themselves and their families.
